Assalamualaikum…in
this post, I will tell about the sworn of loyalty that Dato Bahaman give. After
they retreat to Siam, 7 of the higher Pahang warrior had sworn to hide their
identity. Dato Bahaman itself changes his name into Panglima Kakap, and his
son, Mat Kilau changed his name to Mat Siam.
In
1920, Dato Bahaman returned to Pahang and live at Kampung Paya Lalang (Padang
Lalang), and known as Lebai Deraman, and in 1926, he moved to Kampung Peramu
and his known as Tok Guru Peramu. He live at Kampung Peramu until the end of
his life. His son, Mat Kilau also moved to Kampung Batu Lima, Jalan Gambang
until the end of his life too.
